It is so because that you have only
heard or read about this. It is not your own experience. I wish if ever you would have known this, it would have come from your own experience then there would have been no chance for any tension or worry of the future. It was only then that you would have realized that things are happening according to the nature of things. What has to happen shall happen in the future then why worry about it? Alas! It is just a part of your mental knowledge, you have just read, heard about it. It’s not your own understanding. It is written in the books that things happen as the existence wants things to happen but it’s not your own experience and hence this question has arisen.

It is so because it is a matter of listening and saying. You have not learned it from your own life. I want that you should be free from all the accumulated knowledge as it makes you close to life. Get rid of all that you have heard or read. Have a direct encounter with life. Try to explore the secrets of life from life itself. You be a discoverer, a scientist, an explorer, a seeker but not a person who blindly believes anything. The concept of destiny is just a blind faith and thus you believe in it from the surface. It seems that you believe in destiny, astrology, palmistry or any such thing, but in the depth you are always concerned about occurrences of the future.

I have heard about two astrologers. Every morning they used to show their hands to each other and ask how things will go on the entire day. Such is the condition of the astrologers themselves then what to say about you all. They have no trust in their own knowledge and are so concerned about their own future.

Be aware of this stupidity and ignorance. Awake! It is high time now. See at life the way it is. Do not bring any prejudices or fixed beliefs, patterns or conviction in between. You try to know what actually the reality is by yourself. If you understand yourself that things are pre-determined then your tension about future will disappear. Or even if you understand that they are not predetermined then too tension will disappear. When there is nothing fixed or certain then why to worry about? It is the understanding that liberates. Enjoying the present moment will be its outcome. Then you will try to make this very moment, which is in your hand, beautiful, loving, and full of joy and playfulness. How to make it a celebration will be your only goal in life. After all this you will realize that the tomorrow that comes is the fruit of the seeds sown today. From the womb of today, tomorrow is born then why worry about it? Improve today; beautify it and that shall be all. Automatically, tension of tomorrow shall vanish.
